Traditional Slovenia Ski Chalet to Rent

Hi there J2skiers,

We have a traditional Slovenian Ski Chalet to rent which is five minutes walk from the Vogel ski slopes and located in the heart of Triglav National Park.

Bohinj chalet is surrounded by stunning scenery. Fully central heated it also offers the traditional Slovenian log burner to make mountain evenings extra cosy. It has two double bedrooms downstairs (sleeping 4) and one large bedroom upstairs (which also sleeps 4). There is a bathroom with a shower downstairs with an additional WC upstairs. The Vogel ski slopes are only a 5 minute walk from Bohinj Chalet and in a good season you can directly ski to the front door. There is a gondola lift which takes you to the slopes over looking Lake Bohinj. Vogel at 1500 m has 35 km of slopes with 30% classed as beginner, 50% intermediate and 20% advanced. The longest run is 8km. Typically as in 2005-2006 the ski season lasts from mid-December to early May.
