The Swatch Nines 2024 is coming to Murren
Login
From 09 to 13 April the Swatch Nines will bring an elite crew of skiers and snowboarders to Murren in Switzerland for this unique freestyle event.
The Swatch Nines took 16 days to create by a team of 21 snowpark builders. The massive hip is 21m high and includes 60,000 m3 of natural snow.
The features
The setup includes the Swatch riders' zone, with a snow bar, rail line, and some special features for BMX and skateboarding. Next up is 'The Portal' - a tunnel-like element with a cross-slope gap and rail feature connecting to the 'Perfect Hip 2.0'.
This is the central element of this year's setup and is HUGE: a 10m high takeoff, 21m high landing, and a total length of over 50m.
Public Day: Saturday 13 April
The first few days are off-limits, but if you'd like to see the action yourself, you can visit on 13 April. The Public Day is free to attend with a Schilthorn ski pass for skiers and snowboarders only— no pedestrians.
