LISTEX taking place at The Snow Centre in September

Iainm posted 03-Sep

LISTEX (the London International Snowsports Trade Exchange) celebrates its 10th anniversary later this month as ski professionals gather at The Snow Centre in Hemel Hempstead.

Taking place on 21-22 September, tour operators, destinations, hoteliers and other suppliers will meet over the two days, preparing for the oncoming season.

As well as business meetings, LISTEX features a forum with speakers from around the world of snowsports. The keynote presenter is freeride skiing legend Dominique Perret. Voted 'Freeride Skier of the Century' Perret will share some of the highlights of his extraordinary career and explain why safety in the mountains is now his number one focus.

The Ski Club of Great Britain will be sharing research on the state of the UK snowsports market and Iain Martin from Ski Flight Free will be leading a debate about sustainability within the industry.

The Warren Smith Ski Academy will be bringing their Ski Technique Lab to the event and will be offering all attendees the option to take their biomechanical tests.

New businesses will be invited to 'Pitch@LISTEX' and launch their products and services in front of a panel of experts.

Anyone interested in attending LISTEX should contact Babsi Lapwood from the Mountain Trade Network.
