Hi, :D Can anyone tell me please about skiing close to Milan in April. Two of us want to hire a car from Milan , from 6th to 10th just and head to where we can get three to four good days skiing, in a cheap resort. It doesnt have to have lots of bars or people. We need to do it as cheaply as possible and would like to stah in a hostel if there are any. Do we have to go above 2000m and is there any one area that may have a number of resorts we could choose from, as wel have a car. Please can you recommend any particular region or resorts?
Thanks :mrgreen:

Try this site;

Macugnaga (pronounced MakunYaga) is a small,traditional alpine resort on the Swiss border on the other side from Saas Fee.
We are going back there again tomorrow for a week. I am sure they can accomodate you for any days you wish.The top staion is at 2900m.
People can fly to Milan (Bergamo)with Ryanair but if you can fly to Milan (Malpensa) then do so as it cuts the journey to Macugnaga down to 1 hour.
Hope that helps
