Hi David!

How are you? Thought I would use your card and your suggestion of going to the forum and say hello. We sat next to each other on the easyjet flight to Geneva on 6 March - I was going to Les Arcs 2000 and you were off to Clusaz for a meeting come ski!

Week away was good and great to see friend although as I resort I don't think I will stay in Les Arcs 2000 again. It really isn't a nice resort with awful buildings. Would probably stay in 1800 or 1650. Good runs though although very few boarders and being one of them it was skiers trying to take precedence in the queues!

Anyway - good to meet you and hope to hear from you soon!

Claire.

Hi Claire, glad you had a good time in Les Arcs - 2000 is not the prettiest place in the world (never stayed there), but the skiing is fab. Apart from the other Arcs, there are also a couple of indy chalets down in Villaroger for any future trips (including Optimum who I can highly recommend).

Did you make it to La Ferme?

We held our La Clusaz meeting in boot-deep powder on the Wednesday (it lasted all day but the business bit got adjourned until dinner!), which was an unexpected bonus.

Your question about avalanches (on the plane) turned out to be a touch prescient; see the Snow Report here. ...no harm done though. One more trip to the mountains planned in 3 weeks time - how about you?

Hi there, sorry for the delay in getting back to you. How are you? You disappeared back again to the snow? I am extremely jealous of the powder you had as we didn't find anyway and feel very hard done by.

Yes we did go down to Villaroger and I remember when you mentioned it on the plane as it triggered a memory. I had been there before whilst on in my Tignes season although this time the snow by the La Ferme wasn't there!

We had to walk down to the restaurant the last bit as the snow was very little and was starting to board on gravel!

I am off windsurfing on 29 April for a week and am in between jobs at the moment, would love some more powder though! You going to La Clusaz again?

Hope you had a good Easter and speak soon, Claire.
