Ciao! I will be in Corvara, Italy March 9-17, 2007 to ski the Dolomites, in particular the Sella Ronda. I have heard the snow conditions are very poor this year. Can anyone tell me where are the optimum places to ski in the Dolomites this season, with so little snow? Thanks for any help you can provide!

Don't panic - You don't need metres of snow in the Dolomites.
I went a couple of seasons ago when there was only 30cm - Everything was open and the skiing was great.
Of course it was reasonably cold then - The worry this year is warmth an rain rather than snow depth.

Just returned from Arabba in the Dolomites, just down the road from Corvara. Pisted snow conditions are pretty good considering. Skied the Sella Ronda in both directions - excellent. and not too busy last week. Snow just a bit soft at the end of the day. Some good skiing at Colfosco, just above Corvara. Hope this helps, and enjoy the stunning Dolomites!

I skied at Cortina a few years back in what was considered a bad year. The snow coverage was quite adequate (partly due to their extensive snowmaking) and I was able to do the Sella Ronda which I would definitely recommend.
