One mistake a lot of people make is to go the opposite way, clothing wise.
Every spring I see people in tee shirts. Sometimes later, I see them after they have discovered how abrasive the large spring snow crystals can be. Think sand paper with 1mm dia grit on it and you can imagine what it does to bare skin during a fall.
Ofcourse if you never fall, Tee shirts are great.

Trencher,
Just read your message about Spring skiing.
Fall, what is this fall technique?
A new skiing technique?
How do you do it?
Is this like "carving" with the new modern skis?
Seriously, you are correct...skiers should be aware that spring snow is like 60 grit sandpaper so beware!!!
