I'd like to try skiing. Helmets are mandatory where I live and I wear behind the ear hearing aids. In order to take lessons I'll need to wear my aids. It seems most skiing helmets are tight with a lot of insulation and padding near the ears, which creates a hearing aid feedback problem. Does anyone have a helmet recommendation that will work well with hearing aids (i.e., a little more room around the ears and less padding)?
Thanks!

Many helmets have removable ear pads - the idea being that these are removed for skiing in warmer weather.
Go to a local ski shop and explain your needs.
