Some snaps from this morning; pistes hard first thing but softened quickly in the sun. More pebbles coming through in the odd place, so best to keep an eye out - but another lovely day's skiing...

More great views from the Arpette ridge.

Carving the Corduroy was fun this morning; empty pistes until 10:30 but getting a little busy now the students are crawling out of bed...

Ok, so not actually that busy...

An actual queue for the Varet gondola... nearly several people long.

Looking like another good afternoon.

Time to go skiing again... 8)

Looks great.
I'm just back from four days in La Tania and it was brilliant. Ok so their could have been a lot more snow but the piste skiing was good and we pretty much had the place to ourselves. Well it felt like that anyway.
I try to go every December for a few days and while this year and last have not been ideal we still managed to ski all day.
When in doubt?....Flat out.

Yep. We've had a really good week. My two lads have both made a step-up in technique and confidence, and I've been making a fool of myself - in between some glorious fast carving on empty pistes - working on 360s and trying to ski switch...

It looked as if most people were coming into the 2000 bowl this afternoon so we thought we'd go against the flow and "risk" dropping down the other side to 1600... it was pretty lonely! Pistes in surprisingly good condition, albeit a little soft and certainly thin very low down it was great skiing.
