Looking at Tignes for the end of Feb, some of accomodation is a good walk to lifts without factoring in ski boots.
Is there a ski bus system operating in the town ?.
Any info on the resort would be welcome.
Cheers
Tignes

Tignes is fantastic if you get the right village. I would suggest somewhere around the Lake (Tignes is in a bowl centered around a lake which freezes each winter - ice diving if thats what you like). so something in Le Lac of Val Claret if you want small trips to the lifts. the latter for the funicular. But to be honest the bus system is very good and runs very late so whereever you choose you should nt have any probs.
got to try the race track if its empty and the pisties are nt looking - its quality if you get it like we did. freshly groomed!!! AWESOME
enjoy the half too

Any info available on www.tignes.net
Good ski bus and free shuttle all day and night so no problem.
Tignes Le Lac is more lively than Val claret during the day, but Val claret is more for the night.... in my opinion.
Enjoy !
