Hi I am completely newbie in skiing. My gf and I planned to go to Alpe d'Huez in april. We will have a full day course in snowdome before we go and need some advise for ski hire and school lessons.
Im guna book through iglu ski and they offer me 400 pound per person for 6 days pass, standard gear and 6 days lessons. I would like to know if I wana save a bit more is it better off book it myself? and some suggestions will be appreciated!
Thank you

As a newbie it might be easier to book it through your TO.

According to the Alpe d'Huez website, a 6-day full area adult ski pass costs 248 Euros which is about £194. By the time you add the cost of ski school and hiring the gear - I'm not exactly sure how much exactly but I don't think you'd end up saving much on the £400 you were originally quoted. I've not been to Alpe d'Huez myself but I know that lessons don't come cheap anywhere. That's just my tuppence-worth.
