hi guys,
im going to zell am see for my 25th wedding annivesary to ski with 15 friends in 2007. I am told as it is on a glacier the skiing in late march is excellent. Can anyone verify this is the case and what are the best off piste bars/restaurants for young forty somethings

Zell am see is a great town, I was there 93,94,95 very pretty place, on the frozen lake and the skiing was great. The glacier is at Kaprun though not zell am see. Its a 10 min bus ride down the road. It can get busy at Kaprun when the snow is bad everywhere else. Have a great time.

Tony, I can't verify the quality of skiing/apres-ski but the historical data from last year shows 134cm on the top slopes in the last week of march. Given the late start to this season who can say but it looks good. Have fun!!
I would have got away with it if it wasn't for those pesky kids!
