Save the Ciste - Cairngorms broken link

Admin posted Jun-2014

Following a 2-year (!) process undertaken by Highlands and Islands Enterprise (HIE), Natural Retreats UK Ltd yesterday took over operation of the facilities on CairnGorm Mountain.

A long-running campaign has been running, calling on the operators (now changed) to reinstate the two Ciste chairlifts, previously decommissioned.

Without the Coire na Ciste and West Wall Chairlifts, CairnGorm Mountain is no longer complete.

A lengthy and well-argued case for the two chairs is presented here, on the Save The Ciste website :- why-the-ciste-needs-saving

If that makes sense to you, please add your voice to the petition here :- save-the-ciste-e-petition

See http://www.savetheciste.com/ for further info, and thanks to Winter Highland for the heads-up.
