Great Week In La Tania and the 3 valleys

We have had one of our best ski holidays, stopped in a Chalet in La Tania, ski in ski out. We arrived on the 4th Jan to rain and overcast conditions. Over night the snow started putting down a good covering. :mrgreen:
The conditions were perfect, great skiing conditions. The next few days saw the temperatures turn warmer, but the snow held out. All the runs open and we were begin to fly. :D
The temperatures continued to get warmer, resulting the lower runs turning to slush. :cry: The higher runs continued to be really good.
On the last day temperatures in Meribel were + 9 deg and the lower runs continue to suffer. Desperate need of more snow, we need to start the snow dances :!:
Overall very though the snow is good.
We managed to ski 180 miles, highest speed 63.5 mph, down runs of 46500m (ave of the group)

off to val thorens on Saturday, they are forecasting loads of snow this week :-)

To be honest it was the mad teenagers who hit the highest speeds, but the runs were empty and the snow sooooo good. :mrgreen:

Im off to La Tania in 2 weeks and looks like the snow is setting in this week, so hopefully will cover up by the time we get there. Hoping for some lovely bluebird days.
