Hey all
I heard that there is practically none in Sestriere but i was hoping someone here might know of a spot or two that we can visit during the week that doesn't close early.

Theres always SOMEWHERE. Shame, Sestriere is tame compared to Sauze with its lively bars open all hours. But you'll find a place to call your own for a week I am sure. Its all about the company and atmosphere YOU create at the end of the day.

Well we are sure to have a good atmosphere, just hoping there will be a couple of late bars as we don't want to go drinking in the apartment due to the fact we have one or two noisy people

We went there last year and your right its pretty dead at night.
We went to Hotel Du Col the bar down stairs to watch English football
and a Bar next to some shops by Grand hotel Sestriere ,both ok but when 8 of us went in it doubled the crowd
The liveliest place was where we stayed ,Villaggio Olimpico. On Italian football nights the placed was rocking .
If you can re-book your hotel go to Sauze d'Oulx..We are all around 40 so it didnt bother us quite as much but if i went there in my 20/30's i would been very bored.
We are off to Solden this year i hope we dont see none of this :D

Re book to sauze you need to do your homework before booking skiing as some places are not what you expect
