Hi,

Booked to stay in Morillon this xmas, for the Grand Massif ski area.
Where are the good places to eat and which are the best runs?

Cheers :P

Hi Roger,

I can't give you much assistance with restaurants as we eat in a lot and only occasionally visit mountain eateries at lunch time.
However we went to Flaine the other year and really liked the whole area and i will return sometime soon.

My fav run of the area was probably the Marvel piste in the Morillon sector which is only a green run. I loved it so much because it is long and winds through some beautiful woodland and enabled me to Ski with my daughter for some distance. She is a beginner so it was perfect for her.

Hi Snapzzz, That does look a nice run. Good video of it too, what camera have you got?

I'll second marvel as a good run. There are also some good blue runs over on the Samoens side. There's some ok eateries at the top of the morillon Telecabine not sure about in the town itself. We stayed in Samoens lots of nice restaurants there although they're all in the town 15/20 min walk from the lift

Love this area so enjoyed your video Snapzz as I recognised all the places.
Pity the tunnel has gone now. Was always a bit of fun clattering through.
Samoen not far up the road from Morillon if you have a car and some nice places to eat there.
