Hi everyone!
I`m going on a trip to Europe on november 25th and will probably stay until december 8th or around that, not further, unfortunately. I`d like to know whether there is a good chance of an open place near Geneva that I could go to within minutes or a little over an hour of distance. I thought of Val Thorens, but chamonix would be the closest as I saw on the maps (if I`m not wront).
So I have a couple of other questions:
When do they usually open?
Are there green runs at that time (beginners are going with me)?
Any information will be very much appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
Skiing near Geneva on late november and first week of december. Any open mountain/glacier?

the nearest are the Jura resorts...Les Rousses / La Dole..only small and look great for beginners but I don't know when they open and they are quite low...how about the Aravis (Clusaz /Le Grande Bornande)...don't know when they open though
