Hello,
I'm hoping to do a 1 or 2 day beginners group lesson somewhere near Geneva (preferably within 1.5 hrs by public transport). Can anyone please recommend a suitable resort and suggest the best way to find some last minute accommodation? Is it possible to get group lessons in English? Thanks very much!

Too many options, are you a complete beginner?
Chamonix, St Gervais/Megeve etc, Morzine/Les Gets, Les Clusaz (which might be best as has some high altitude blues).
All will do English lessons with ESF.

I have only spent a few hours on an indoor ski slope, so yes, I'm a complete beginner and would probably spend most of the time on the beginner's slope. I'll look into the options you mentioned and ESF.

Les Carroz! Only 45 mins from Geneva, we can put you in touch with English speaking instructors. Shame we're full next week, but could offer you accommodation following week (from 23rd)
