Hi all, my girlfriend and I will be in Courmayeur (first time) for 4 days in a few weeks time (March 23-27). We'll be staying at the Hotel Courmayeur.
Would love to hear your suggestions and personal tips on ski itineraries as well as restaurants (midrange) and bars (have read a number of resort profiles including the j2ski one).
We're both about 30, interested in meeting new people... how do we hook up with a ski tour group or guide for the day? We are advanced skiiers (well, she is a snowboarder).

Last time I was in Courmayeur, the Vallee Blanche route (with guide) was being heavily touted for good skiers. Might be worth a look if conditions are favourable :wink:. Not sure if it is boarder-friendly :shock:

La Vallee Blanche (on the Chamonix side of Mont Blanc) should be awesome in the current conditions. In Courmayeur itself, some really good off-piste off the Youla and the Cresta d'Arp, that we weren't good enough to take advantage of on our trip there.
