good morning, just booked for a week, going on sunday with my 5 year old daughter, does anyone have an option of the hotel, distance to the slopes, do you think is worth hiring a car, also do you have to pay for the sauna etc, if so how much.
thanks

Gets good reviews. There might be some info about what you ask if you read through the reviews.
I haven't skied sansicario as whenever I've been to sauze the link over has been shut.
It's a fab ski area though with loads to go at, provided the snow has hit the area which it often doesn't.
Hope you have a great time.

Hi Chris, ive stayed here. Its a good hotel with pool, jacuzzis etc. i seem to recall they were free. Rooms are good as is the bar. The restaurant is big and operates a self service buffet. I did start to get a bit tired of the choice which doesnt seem to change much but eat as much as you like. Threre was a free bus up to the ski area. Only took a couple of minutes. A small funicular was put in for the olympics but wasnt working when i was there. Sansicario is very quiet. Has a feel of purpose built accommodation for the olympics about it - which in the main it was. Lovely wide long pistes. Nothing challenging but a good blast. Links well with Sauze and Sestriere if i remember. It is also feasible to get to Claviere and Montgenevre from here. Bit of a haul back from Montgenevre so dont leave it late to get back. Not much in the way of entertainment in Sansicario im afraid. I enjoyed it, but was only there 3 nights. Snow will be good though so have a ball.
