Can anyone tell me how different and what kind of level skiing I would need to be at if I was to hire Advanced Ski's on my next ski holiday coming up in March, I had brand new superior ski's back in January (going back to same place and hire shop this time too) the superior ski's were good but would like a challenge and need info on what to expect from Advanced ski's ???

If there's little price different, always rent the highest grade possible.
You'll get newer models in better condition for starters, and a wider choice of skis for different terrain.
Depends on the weather and what you like to ski.
If it were me, I'd want all mountain skis, and probably have at least a day skiing on free ride wide skis to try them out in powder if there is any.
You should have no problem trying out different skis each day or two if you want to compare and try out different types.
Ask the shop for advice based on your ability and requirements.

Works out about 14 euros more which is nothing price wise but wasn't worried about the cost element just the difference it was going to make to my skiing!! I usually stick to on piste skiing i'm pretty confident on all red's and done blacks albeit they are Italian blacks so not as steep! I do try to do a little off piste not a lot though, I want to try and do more skiing in fresh powder but as you say depends on the weather conditions! I think I will go for the higher grade nothing to lose!
