Scheffau at start of March

Hi,

we have an option of a week in Scheffau, in the SkiWelt, at the start of March 2013 to meet up with a group. Having only started venturing to Austria this year, we were in Mayrhofen in January, I'm unsure about snow sureness in Scheffau at the start of March?

Am I worried unnecessarily?

We were there same time as you're thinking of last year. It was fine, except right down at the very bottom where it could become a little heavy around mid-afternoon. Have a good one !

We went on a 2nd trip last year at the same time. Jan was awesome so I was worried about march but it was amazing like gaz said it does get a little soft and heavy in the afternoon at the lower end but being a boarder?? it was more fun than January to be honest. My friend was with us who was a v good skier and he said it was the best trip he'd been on. Sun was blasting down, après was fab so my wife And I are gettin in a cheeky 4 days from the 1st march. Can't wait. Hope this alleviates any concerns. Have a ball!!! ???????
