Can't help with this one but I'm sure someone will be able to. I get the feeling that L2A is one of those 'marmite resorts'. I've never been, but it is on my radar. Mainly because of the great stuff I've heard about the Easiski lot. I think they might have just what I need to move my level of skiing on to where I'd like it to be. Look forward to tour views on the place when you return.

Polar Bear bar on the main street is really quite good, it has a fire hanging in the middle of the bar, quite random...Also, Smokey Joes, they have live pares music every evening, or at least they have dene on our previous 3 visits but been elsewhere this year. Secret Bar (opposite the Polar Bear) was good last year too. Red Frog over at the Venosc side of town was another favourite of ours too.
Hints for skiing - put skis on, throw yourself down mountain - only joking, depends what you're after? If you can expand on this, let me know and I'll try to help. However, some of my favourite runs (blues) are Signal 1, Glacier 1, La Fee 1 and Lac Noir 1 and 2 - the pistes are names according to their area, and you'll find, as above, there are Signal 1, 2, 3 and 4 for example.
The "other" side of the resort should be open as I believe the snow is good. It's a bit lower and faces into the sun so can suffer early and late season. Runs are known for being a bit steeper, which I can vouch for, but it is quieter I found.
Not many runs back into resort, couple of blacks and a new red now. There's a green "roadway" that is narrow and murder on the thighs as you'll end up ploughing a lot of it to avoid the beginners that litter it. Best to get the Jandri gondola back down or the "white eggs" if you're in the middle of twon. There are chairlifts if you are staying at either end of resort that you can download in.
Give me a shout if you've any more questions, hopefully I can answer them!!
