We are staying in samoens in February and some friends in chamonix.
Has anyone driven it and knows how long it will take??

Where are you staying?
If you're going at half term the gondola will be pretty busy 1st thing in the morning.
Lovely town with lovely shops. Quiet in th eves tho.

Staying at la reine de pres the mgm apartments....not worried about it being quiet on an evening.....

The route between the 2 resorts can be very snowy so make sure you have your snow tyres on (I love my Continental 830's!).
Samoens is a very pretty village with lovely old buildings and shops. Possibly one of the prettiest skiing villages in France; in my opinion anyway!
