Three Valleys for the Holiday
Hey, just booked hotel in Brides for Sat thru Wed. Never been in that area before, gonna check it out. I've got a sore ankle from a bike accident a couple of months ago so want to do some piste crusin, see how it holds out, build a little strength for later season. If someone's in the area and wants to cruise or catch a beer let me know.

Yup, Brides is a little to quiet, but the little pub in town is OK for a beer and a quick dinner. Easy drive up to Meribel for a good selection of restaurants, just can't drink the entire bottle of wine, lol.
Didn't mind the lift in the morning, always alone in the gondola so a good time to get your gear and backpack squared away, boots buckled up, sunglasses/goggles cleaned, ipod and helmet hooked up, etc etc ready to hit it when the doors open in Meribel.
I do wish the lift ran later than 5pm so you could hang out up on the hill for a little apres or even dinner instead of having to rush back down the valley though. But then again, it's easy to see it's not a high traffic lift like the one from the La Chable train station up to Verbier
