Planning on going snowboarding early next year, but my GF tried it once & hated it! So does anyone out there have a recommendation of a resort where there is lots of things to do such as walking, snow shoeing, spa, nearby (ish) places, such as cities, to visit etc? And is cheapish. Or is that too much to ask? I'm keen on Austria
Thanks very much

Hmm... they may have some great skiing but I don't think I'd like to spend very long in either of those resorts if I wasn't getting out on the snow.
Innsbruck sounds like it fits the bill but do the slopes get crowded with such a large city at their feet?

Seefeld has a lot of extra stuff as well as the skiing/snowboarding.

Its fairly near Innsbruck meaning transfer time etc is pretty short.

You could do worse than go to Innsbruck, it's a lovely city there are slopes nearby, it's the only place I've ever caught a city tram to go skiing! There are some very goods resorts nearby; Igls, Axmer Lixxum etc and if your timing is right, Xmas or New Year, you could get to see some ski-jumping. So lots to do and everything you'd expect in a city.
