San Martino di Castrozza

Any information about december skiing,not to miss piste,apreski and foodstores will be appreciated. 29 days to go but still no snow.

I'm back from great skiing in San Martino di Castrozza,pretty litle town with very friendly people.There was a lot of snow and pistes which were open were well prepared but unfortunatly many of them were closed in first half of decembre due to low ocupancy,so it is not really a 'first snow resort'. Several chair lifts are old and slow two seaters that can piss you off as it is a waste of precius ski time. But don't let this put you off as one can also find some great slopes, phenomenal apre ski and local bars.
