Hi
We are looking to go to Jackson hole next year , can anyone point me in the right direction to find info about the place ie how many parts of Jackson Hole is there, eg Teton Village, Jackson itself ??? , possibly what is the best place to go to that area.
Has anyone been there that can give me some info on it.. Cheers Richard...

Jackson is a bus ride away from the slopes, Teton Village is right at the foot of the slopes, but there's not much else there.
Jackson is a great little town so if I went back I'd stay there again. There's a charge for the bus, though a week ticket was cheap as chips.
I would love to go back, it's a sensational resort. Not big but very challenging.

Yes, it is a bus ride into the adjoining valley. I love Jackson, it feels like you should be wearing a big stetson, or else you are left out!

Went to Jackson years ago and liked it. We also did the odd trip (you'll need a vehicle) and went to Grand Targhee resort which was fun - not as challenging but we needed the variety.

Jackson itself has some great bars, very 'cowboy' - at one of them the bar stools were old saddles!

We did a day there too, we'll worth a visit. Would have been better in powder conditions.
I remember there being a run called nasty gash.
