Looking to join a group 21st December for a week

Looking to leave the UK behind for Christmas...don't mind where!!! 3 ski holidays but still a beginner really. 46, female, preferably north west...

How about just going to one of the bigger chalet hotels?

Some have single rooms and being early you should get one (possibly, probably, maybe!).

Bound to be a few pleasant people you can hook up with both for skiing and socialising, plus you can wander around until you find some people whose company you enjoy rather than being stuck as part of a pre-formed group who you may or may not gel with.

My way (sometimes go on my own - brilliant week, last minute so cheap, with Mark Warner last Jan - great bunch of other singles to ski with) would be to phone a couple of travel agents and see what they can suggest - easier than scouring all the tour operators for single rooms.
