Whilst I'm thinking about it - has anyne been to Soll over New Year on a DIY trip (therefore no tour operator arranged entertainment)?
Just wondering if you have and have any ideas as to what to do to bring in the New Year, naturally alcohol related! Did you tag on to a gala dinner at a hotel or book a restaurant yourselves?

Cannot speak about New Years Eve but we have been to Soll the last 3 years in January and found the Salvenstadl Bar is a great venue for Apres. Lively with great live music and centrally located.
