21st April...Where??

Hi all,
I've just been given a week off work from 21st of April, i want to go boarding rather than sit on a beach or sofa for a week so looking for advice. I can get cheap flights to geneva an plan to hire a car if i have to. I've been looking at Chamonix, Tignes and Val Thorens but cant decide which, if any would be suitable. I know its late and i know its probably gonna be warm but ill be more than happy with a morning on the snow..

Any of those three should be good in April. Chamonix town should be a bit warmer by then and is a really nice place to be in the Spring, although the other two might have the edge on the amount of skiing (sorry, boarding) still available.

Not much to choose between them though, really.

If you're pretty handy on the board then maybe Chamonix and Tignes are the better options, otherwise Tignes and VT may suit an intermediate a little better.

Good time to be given a week off work though! :D

Skiing, boarding....sledging, theyre all the same to me :-)

My first thoughts were Chamonix because of the short transfer from Geneva and its access to some high snow....and a late afternoon beer in village with the sun on your face, i'm sold on that!!
