Atomic Centro 412 pre-release issues anyone?

Hey, has anyone on this board had experience with Atomic's Centro 412 bindings? Or any Centro even? I know I'm talking about a binding from back in the 2000-2003ish range, but...there must be someone else out there who used these bindings.

I'd like to know if anyone else has had pre-release issues with these bindings. I took one hell of a header and want some replacements from Atomic if I can get some leverage information-wise. These are not under warranty. Bought used, but DIN to company specs, etc.

Yes there was a batch of Centro units that had problems. It was never released to general public, however mine were changed without question.

Any reputable shop should return unit.

I'd like to know more about this "bad batch" of units.

Were they the Centro 412 specifically?

When were they on the market?

Do you know what the issue was? Was it the heel spring? Something else related to pre-release?
