Hallo everybody,
My friends and I want to go snowboarding on the 15 of April.
We know it's considered late season but we can't go before that date. Does anyone know if there is still good snow that time of year?? Which sites are recommended to have the best snow? We are 23 so of course we would prefer if the night life would be good but that's second in priority.. Thanks for the help

You gotta be looking at higher altitudes, resorts further north or glacial areas for RELIABLE snow. We usually go to Are Sweden last week march/first week April and have had fresh powder each time, not the cheapest area tho, Swedes know how to party and their season usually continues to 1st may. At the moment it certainly looks like its going to be a long season as most euro resorts have had plenty of dumps and regular top ups, might be worth biding your time and keeping your options open.

I would wait, you still have a while to go, by all means look at different resorts and their altitudes, but with the amount of snow Europe has had this season, you should be fine. We have just booked for 3 weeks times, so would be worth the wait if you have a budget to stick to.
Rather a bad day on the slopes than a good day in the office!

As always advice is if you can wait then do. If you had to book now as previously mentioned a high altitude resort and some where with access to a glacier is your safest bet. I'd consider Tignes in France or Solden in Austria. There are many more, I've had really good late season skiing in resorts that top out at 2000m which had better conditions than Tignes the week before-this was mid April too and hopefully demonstrates the value of holding on if you can.
