Where to go for easy skiing a couple of days. Have never been there before and need some basics. Would Bregenz make a good base and day trip from there, I am driving. Would appreciate any advice from people who have been there.
Thank you.

Have been going to this area for some 40 years.Easy skiing can be found at the following, mellau,au,schoppernau, and at warth at the head of the valley.Staying at one of the villages mentioned would be better.I have addresses for some good accommodation should you be interested.

There is easy skiing in most of the villages.Alberschwende is the first one, there are several more on the way up the Hochtanberg pass to Warth the highest resort,at 1500 metres. The Gasthof Falken at Egg Grossdorf is convenient for the skiing at schetteregg, there is more extensive skiing further up the valley at Mellau,Au,Schoppernau and Warth. There is a good hotel at reuther, hotel Engel, although it is some years since I stayed there,The Post htel at Au is also very good, recent years I have stayed self catering in Schoppernau, excellent, but one needs to stay more than a couple of nights. If you google Bregenzerwald you will find addresses.hope this has been helpful.PS Have not heard of any poor accommodation here.Cheers A
