Starting to get excited about my Les 2 Alpes trip coming up v.soon, but "2alpesnet" reports are all reading rather "negative" and downbeat.
Are there any alternative good sites with regular updates?
I would love to be reading daily about the best slopes, the best conditions to be finding at the best times of the day, and what-not...not how it's too cold, too windy or computer problems. (Sorry 2alpesnet reporter/writer)
Up-beat resort reports?

Hi Smartski, I agree, they do seem a bit downbeat. Same reporter as last year though and they seemed better then...? When do you go - 28 Jan for us to the Aalborg this time. V excited especially as Santa brought me new ski boots :-)

Santa didn't bring me anything but told me to take the family this time [after 5 years leaving them behind  ]
...so we will be arriving in exactly 1 week :D

Is L2A a good enough sized ski area? I also read some fairly negative reports that its spread out, not very difficult, and awkward to ski back to resort.
But the extent seems pretty good in terms of mileage.....

Loads of blues and reds, it is a bit awkward to ski back to resort - either a bendy green littered with beginners or blacks. But there are 2 bubbles, a 20 person gondola and a couple of chairs that can return you to resort. Where are you staying - can probably tell you the best option.
It's an "upside down" resort, with the exception of the nursery slopes in resort, most blues/reds are higher up. Plenty to choose from - our third visit and there are still some runs not tried yet.
