I think there are five stations in total, which is best for a) a second week skier and b) an experienced skier?

My advice would be not to *plan* to ski in Scotland at all. Instead, if you happen to be within a 4 hour drive and the conditions look good, then drive as fast as you can and GO FOR IT!

I'm a handy boarder and I've done Cairngorm, Nevis and Glencoe. Gorm is just too bleak for me, Goose gully in Nevis is great becuase the westerlies strip all the snow off the mountain and it ends up in the goose - so no snow wortha damn anywhere else. Coe is usually sparse, but on one day last Feb I was there after a 1-2 foot powder dump on the upper hill and it was awesome (if a little avalanchy) - one of the best half-a-day boarding ever. Basically, it's not pisted and barely marked and has a few nice bits of natural wild terrain to explore - rocks to weave between, some short gullies, the odd steep - neither was it desperately busy. It was a briliant feeling to be having such a good time boarding in Scotland - I shredded the place - ace!
