Does anyone have any personal knowledge about snow conditions in Les Gets? I am travelling out there on the 21st December! :)

I have skied there many times when I have stayed in Morzine. Always preferred LG and Avoriaz to Morzine. It is really easy to get from A to LG.

Amazing on that webcam just how much snow was put down today alone.

More snow forcast for this week...You will have a great time ....lucky sod ;)

Les Gets gets surprisingly good snow cover even though the resort is on 1,100m. I worked a season there and there is great variety of skiing - although it's more a piste resort than off piste. And if you are driving it is brilliantly placed for Avoriaz (in case snow is poor in LG) and even for a day trip to Chamonix.

Just been checking for my Sister as she's off with the Fambo on Saturday. J2Ski Forecasts says 50cm (High) between now and Sunday! :D

Was there in Jan'11 and we ended up in Avoriaz chasing the slightly better conditions - only a 20 minute drive to the cable car and a great run down to the bottom at the end of the day to where the car was parked!

I, unfortunately, have to wait until March for my trip to Obergurgl
There's no business like snow business!
