We are heading off to La Tania in a month... and are a mixed ability group - from advanced to competent to scared!
The question is should we all buy the full 3Vs ski pass, or should those of more reserved talent just get the Courchevel pass.
Is there enough in Courchevel to keep them happy?
My gut feeling is we should all get the full pass and endeavour to enjoy all the Meribel and even VT has to offer. Any comments gratefully received.

Staying in La Tania you have very easy access to Meribel as the village on half way along the road from C1300 to Meribel, and the lifts take you to the ridge betweeen the two valleys.
It used to be that a valley pass plus one day extension cost more than a 3V pass - I suggest checking that online.

Go the whole hog. It's a fantastic ski area, which can be skied almost all over by evn fairly inexperienced skiers, provided you pick your routes carefully. SOOOO much more to see...especially if you get over to La Masse in Les Menuires, or the Orelle....

Definitely go for the whole pass
I had 2 peeps on their first week on snopw from VT to Courchevel 1850 in time for lunch one day and back again for a pint all with using only green/blue runs (clearly it can be done much quicker if you venture down some reds)

Go for the full pass. I have skied there as a beginner and now good intermediate and have never regretted the extra cost of the full pass.
As a beginner it was always good to be with more experienced skiers in our group for periods of time to pick up some tips and not be restricted to the one area.
