Thats because your used to Austrian prices
As for St Moritz, go with Club Med and do it for under £1000 for the week, and thats EVERYTHING; full board, lunches, drinks, lift pass, lessons, flights, transfers, all in the place thats supposed to be St Tropez on snow.
Beautiful scenery, wonderfully quiet pistes.
Right. Lech......

Great area, less extreme than St Anton next door and far better maintained pistes.
Can't comment on the night life but be prepared for some silly prices, Lech and Zurs are Austria's answer to St Moritz.

What time of year are you going? We have been in the pre-Christmas week and first week of March. The live music in the main street as you come off the slopes goes on for longer the later in the season it seems - but I don't think there is actually any 'clubbing' as such - you will need St. Anton for that I think.

If you're saying Austria was expensive, you're wrong. France has been horrendously more expensive than Austria in the main. On and off the slopes. But I think we've done this one before.Ian Wickham wrote:Stewart Dowling wrote:On the slopes at St Moritz was expensive but I didnt find that the town was.
