Brilliant pic Dave - we'd Martin for one day's instruction once when Christina Jochum had to go off to see her accountant. Nice guy.

Right on Blodwyn, it was a big award. He had the camera set on burst, which I often do, to prevent a picture of the tail of the ski, disappearing off to the left of pic.
And, I have just realised that I have the pics the wrong way round. In the top pic, the ski has gone exit stage right, and Martin has angled the boot.

We had Martin trying to teach us to ski at New Year. I think he's Peter's brother isn't he (also an 'Red' instructor)? Great guy and don't worry he can ski with just one ski - I've seen him do it when one of his skis disappeared down the mountain!
