Val Senales glacier

Just wondered if anyone else had been to Val Senales. Many moons ago when I was at college they organised an Easter ski trip. Previously I had only skiied on dry slopes and the Scottish ski resorts. We stayed in the Grawand Hotel and it was an amazing holiday. The weather was fabulous and I had the best tan I've ever had, even on a summer holiday and the skiing was superb. Really long cruisy blue runs and good snow. Downside you had to stay in the hotel for apres ski as the last funicular was 4.30pm. Great holiday though. Anyone else been there? Ria x

OMG only time I tried skiing before I'm due to go was 27 yrs ago as a 13yr old with school. Could never remember the name until now _ Val Senales Grawand!!!! How spooky. Was a fab holiday and thanks for the reminder!!

I could never remember the name of the hotel either but looked it up recently and then you tubed it - brought back good memories. Are you off on holiday soon - if so have a great time :)
