Manigod

Manigod is a hidden gem in the French Alps, perfect for families and adventurous skiers alike. With over 50 km of pistes, it offers diverse terrain for all skill levels.

Nestled between the Aravis and Bornes mountain ranges, Manigod boasts a unique blend of charm and challenging runs. Its family-friendly atmosphere makes it an ideal destination for both relaxation and adventure.

The ski area of Manigod is in the French Alps at an altitude of 1,480m 4,856ft , with 25km 16 miles of marked runs.

Manigod is part of the Annecy Mountains ski area with access to 173 marked pistes, served by a total of 150 ski lifts. In addition to the skiing in Manigod itself ( 25km 16 miles of pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Annecy Mountains ski resorts of La Clusaz, La Sambuy / Seythenex, Le Grand Bornand and Saint Jean de Sixt.

Skiing

Manigod features the Croix Fry and Manigod ski areas, with an elevation reaching up to 1,850 meters. Notable pistes include the scenic La Combe and the challenging La Tête du Tachat, serviced by modern lifts like the Croix Fry gondola and the Petit-Bornand chairlift.

Manigod offers good sking, particularly, for Intermediate and Beginner skiers.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Manigod is Annecy, 31 minutes drive away.

Geneva, Chambery, Grenoble, Lyon St-Exupéry, Lyon Bron, Sion, Saint-Étienne, Dole–Jura and Berne airports are all within three hours drive.

Annecy is just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.

Manigod is easily accessible from Geneva Airport, approximately 70 km away, with well-marked roads leading to the resort. Alternatively, you can reach it from Annecy, which is about 30 km and offers beautiful scenic views along the route.

After a day on the slopes, unwind at Le Bar des Alpes or enjoy a hearty meal at La Ferme de Manigod. For a lively atmosphere, the local nightclub, La Grange, offers music and dancing.
