Le Tour at a glance

A small satellite village of Argentiere and on the huge Pays Du Mont Blanc pass. Small separate ski area of its own, famous for having the most snowfall in France (up to five metres/16 feet). The local Vormaine area is regarded by many as the best place for beginners and intermediates in the Chamonix Valley.

The French Ski Resort of Le Tour is part of the Ski Pass Mont Blanc area with access to 952km592 miles of downhill skiing, with 507 marked pistes, served by a total of 248 ski lifts. In addition to the skiing in Le Tour itself (10 pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Ski Pass Mont Blanc ski resorts of Argentière, Chamonix, Combloux, Cordon, Les Contamines, Les Houches, Megève, Passy Plaine Joux and St Gervais Mont-Blanc.

With ski lifts as high as 2,190m7,185ft, snow cover is generally reliable.
