Skiing

Tauplitz features over 43 kilometers of ski runs, predominantly suited for intermediate skiers, along with some challenging options. The resort's highest point reaches 2,200 meters, with notable pistes such as the Planaibahn and the scenic runs around the Tauplitzalm offering spectacular views and enjoyable descents.

Tauplitz offers good sking, particularly, for Intermediate and Beginner skiers.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Tauplitz is Linz, 87 minutes drive away.

Graz, Salzburg, Klagenfurt, Ljubljana, Vienna and Munich airports are all within three hours drive.

Accessing Tauplitz is straightforward, with the nearest major airport being Graz (GRZ), approximately 140 km away. From there, a scenic drive through the Styrian countryside or a convenient train ride can take you to the resort.

The 22 ski lifts are able to uplift 20,850 skiers and snowboarders every hour.

Snow-making is available, on 15km 9 miles of ski runs, with 20 snow cannons.

Season Dates

When is Tauplitz open?

We don't currently have confirmed season dates, but hope to soon.

Usual opening is early December, and usual closing is Early April.

NOTE:- Ski area, lift and piste opening is subject to Current Snow Conditions.
