Itter is a charming ski resort located in the SkiWelt region of Austria. With its family-friendly atmosphere and picturesque landscapes, it's perfect for skiers of all levels.

 Summary

Nestled in the heart of the Tyrol region, Itter offers access to over 280 kilometers of ski runs. The resort is known for its well-groomed pistes and stunning mountain views, making it a favorite among families and beginners.

The ski area of Itter is in the Austrian Alps at an altitude of 700m 2,297ft , with 49km 30 miles of marked runs.

Itter is part of the SkiWelt area with access to 288km 179 miles of downhill skiing, with 186 marked pistes, served by a total of 90 ski lifts. In addition to the skiing in Itter itself ( 49km 30 miles of pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other SkiWelt ski resorts of Brixen im Thale, Ellmau, Going am Wilden Kaiser, Hopfgarten im Brixental, Kelchsau, Scheffau am Wilden Kaiser, Söll and Westendorf.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Itter is Innsbruck Airport, 90 minutes drive away.

Salzburg, Munich, Bolzano, Memmingen, Linz and St. Gallen-Altenrhein airports are all within three hours drive.

To reach Itter, fly into Innsbruck or Salzburg airports, both of which are about 90 minutes away by car. Well-connected by road, the resort is easily accessible for a hassle-free journey.

Snow-making is available, on 210km 130 miles of ski runs, with 1000 snow cannons.
