Here is todays Val D'Isere weather:
The grays are many valleys, but on our already thinning link in places and particularly at altitude. So the sun will eventually prevail everywhere. The afternoon saw the arrival of clouds élevés.Le wind continues to weaken. And tomorrow: The conditions are correct on our reliefs, but time is not very bright because of thick veils of high clouds traverse the sky insistently. I love them, they make my day. |

OK, maybe one more look http://www.tignes.co.uk/webcam.htm the third cam down shows the glacier, it hasn't been touched at the time of my post. The chairs, cable car and restaurant have all taken a massive battering.

Just had another sneaky peak at the Val D cam, there's some poor bloke clearly stuck in about 2 foot of powder on the flat part of the nursery slope with one ski in the air.
