Hi spw2411, simply go to your profile page (there is a link to the left side of the forum) tick the box which says yes to activate snow emails and select the resort as your number one choice in the drop down boxes. You can select up to four resorts and as long as your email address is correct you will start getting the reports.

Enjoy the season :-)

Nope fear not.... He has a magic key mate.... Or at least he did when he visited us

Oh no, in my drunken stupor last night, I seem to recall pushing a suspect burglar off my balcony when I got home around midnight. I hope it was not the big man himself :(

Merry Christmas everyone.

I hope your hangovers are not as bad as mine, and for those of you fortunate enough to be where the white stuff is, I hope you have a truly epic bluebird day :)

 :D

Merry Christmas everybody, I hope Santa bought everyone what they wanted.

Sadly, I just discovered a problem with flats, they don't have a chimney

So I am hoping Santa left all my stuff round at my parents, where I am just about to go
I am pretty sure the reason behind the saying is as follows.

In the UK, when it gets very cold, it is usually because there is no cloud cover. Especially if you get a cloudless night in deepest winter. It is because of the lack of clouds that the saying "It is too cold to snow" came about.

That does not in any way mean the statement is correct, just a common held theory on why it is used.

This is where snow depth is measured on my local hill, a nice shady spot in a bit of a hollow sheltered by two containers and the PistenBully garage.

Ooo, no snow for you yet then? No wonder it's such a short stick!
