Yea I take out the inners. Most of the boot room dryers that I have experienced are the hot rod thingys. Also, unless there is an individual locker, I dont like leaving my boots nicely on display ready for someone to pinch. Also - I'm not getting notifications on email when someone replies to my post - the little box is ticked to email me when a reply is posted :( |

My first ski holiday of the season is fast approaching and I've not treated myself to anything yet!
Looking at replacing my hot rod boot dryers for some that circulate hot air instead - much more boot friendly. What do you guys/gals out there use? I get really hot (sweaty) feet, so they need a dry out and sometimes the simple heat of the room does not cut it Icy |

If I was on there after lunch people might see the colour of my lunch :(

What's with the 'warm' (above 0c) weather that is happening? Just reading the report for ADH and it says "wet".

I had physio, insoles nothing fixed it apart from the magic injection. My feet are pretty knackered, I have fallen arches, hammer toe, raised top arch -- consequently the great boot fitters at Rivington Alpine (little plug adders...) spent a long time customising my insole (standard stuff), but also stretching and shaving of various parts of my boots.
If you have your own boots I would certainly recommend going to a professional boot fitter (not snow & rock!), it will be time very well spent. Graham & the team at Rivington Alpine have fitted world class skiers and also while I was there one day some bloke who had a fused ankle and couldn't bend it therefore getting into a ski boot was near on impossible. Graham, sorted it! |
