I used to have it - was cured with a nice quick steroid injection into the sole of the foot - it did smart a bit though, but fixed it :)

Ooo nice one, yes that's the apartments. The shorter I have to drag my ski the better!
Ski hire insurance

Who out there takes the ski hire insurance from the shop when they go?

Anyone ever had it and had to claim - any good?

Anyone ever lost/damaged their hired gear and not had insurance - what was your experience?

I'm going to Alp d'huez in January next year. Great thing is it's a totally new resort for me, HOWEVER - all is new! We have booked with Crystal but not taken their ski hire as have found it to be overpriced in the past.

We are staying at the Cristal apartments, anyone know the closest Skiset/Intersport for Ski hire? I've had gear from both of these guys in the past and liked their gear. Some of the smaller shops I am generally disappointed with the quality.

Thoughts?

Les Arcs 1800 in march - snow conditions

Have to agree with adders on this one. Last March (about 15th) snow down the edge of the pistes was waist deep and on the piste knee deep in places. Loads of fun, beginners in our group loved it as it was a nice soft landing :)

I skied in March in LA last season. Conditions were good. If you head up to the beginner slopes at 2000 you should be ok. I'm off there again this season in March. We typically stay at 1950

I've always got snow chains included with the car. Has it changed now?
