Cheers for that, helpful :)
Yea dragon looked as you say, but tbh pie and chips is better than many hotel buffet! Yea covid is a pain, that's why we are doing TO for both skiing hols this year (arcs 1800 March). Looking forward to somewhere new, Italy is also a lot cheaper than France (and Austria, glad we didn't book st anton as we wanted). Away in Tenerife at the min, it's all fine apart from the exams to fill in forms :) |

That's really helpful, thanks
So are they thinking you need to show that on every lift you get on? Surely not on those that you have to get another lift to access Suppose there's plenty of time yet for controls to be put in place |

I've just booked to go to Cervinia staying in Hotel Dragon. Never been to the area before, done italy a few times just not here.
Anyone got any pointers. We are half board but will defo be eating out. Any suggestions? Any ideas for bit of Apres for mid 40 year olds who like lively (not ravey!) bars? |

As you have booked Sauze and are looking forward to it, I wont share my opinion as it is not the same as the others.
I was there a couple of years ago when there had been a death on the slopes so they were being ultra cautious with a breathe of wind. The ski bus you have to pay 2 euro for it - however far you go. We too stayed at the Hermitage, its about 500m from the lift (a road uphill, not walkable) and they charge you 2 euro....each trip. So no return or daily ticket possible. Your best bet is to get the lift that is right next door to the hotel Hotel rooms are very small food is average - but thats personal opinion. The town as some great bars and restaurants and the food is not expensive at all. Atmosphere is so much better than France! Take a look at Sauze on-line, it has the webcams that you can feast over every day - or is it just me that does that? Hope you have a great hol. If i thinkof anything more I'll post it :) |
